Are we really getting vaccinated?

We have seen many examples of huge resilience, compassion and community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that some nations are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, with the vaccine roll-out, will we forget this better side of ourselves as soon as our personal situations ease?
With the talk of vaccination passports being a requirement for travel and other social activities, a sinister edge has already begun to creep in.
Today I heard of a middle-aged man (I won’t call him a gentleman) who attended a medical centre for his vaccination. Once in the doctor’s office, he offers the doctor 100 euros, instructs the doctor to sign the necessary paperwork proving that he has received his vaccination, and then tells the doctor to dispose of the vaccine. He does not want to be vaccinated but wants to travel.
THE DOCTOR COMPLIED.
This dangerous development is only one case, but how often is this happening, and what will the future hold when we are all able to travel and gather in confined spaces again? What harm will such selfish acts cause?
